A qsfp28 is a Quad (4-channel) small shape issue hot pluggable fibre optical transceiver used for 100 Gigabit Ethernet (100GbE) records communications programs.

The QSFP28 integrates four transmit and four receiver channels. The variety 28 way each lane contains up to 28G statistics fee. QSFP28 supports 4x25G breakout connection, 2x50G breakout, or 1x100G relying on the sort of QSFP28 transceiver used.
